I hope he is not the owner, because he has a long way to go in the hospitality industry. The gentleman who was assisting us was very rude to say the least. say it was ok, but it was just terrible!! hands down. The décor is very cozy, but the service was just terrible!! I wish I could've. We were in the mood for tapas this past weekend and decided to try this place, since we have eaten a couple of times in the Peruvian restaurant next door. Obviously, we will NEVER set foot in this insane place again! Way expensive.small portions.poor quality.poor service and a CRAZY ungrateful owner. This a mediocre restaurant at best and treating customers this way is a guarantee his doors will close soon. I have NEVER been thrown out of a restaurant in my life.

He embarrassed me personally by screaming that " I can no longer set foot in his restaurant" and we need to finish up and we were not welcome to order desert - "Just pay and get out." One of our party walked out and paid the full bill just so we could get out quickly. Once we ordered more than $600.00 worth of food, Armando came in again and stood there screaming at us. He had left the glass on the table so I went ahead and used the glass after all. Unfortunately the rest of our crew had their heart set on the food so in an effort to go with the flow I sat down. Armando proceeded to come in and scream at me about the glass and I actually stood up and wanted to leave and go elsewhere. I noticed the restaurant was empty.maybe three tables had people on a Saturday night. I walked into the other room and took a large wine glass off a table. I made it clear that we did not ask to be placed in this room and was still told no. I asked for a larger glass and was told "NO, we do not sere large glasses in this room. We ordered the wine and we were served in these tiny little glasses. We were placed in a room on the side and after 20 minutes, I had to go out and ask if we were going to get service. I think he was most concerned that we would spend a minimum of $35 per person which I knew we would surpass as we enjoy wine. He stated, "You have to order family style and if you don't want to do it don't come!" That should have told me something right there but I kept him on the phone and in the end I felt we could make it work. I first received a very angry phone call from the owner whom I think is Armando. We always like to support small businesses in our community so when ten of us got together for dinner, we made our reservation here. While the food is above average.not great but above average this owner has grown far bigger in his.
The restaurant business is a service business and this place doesn't know the meaning of the word. Paid $144 for dinner for two, including tip and the watered down virtually flavorless sangria. Nor will I ever suggest anyone try the place. Needless to say, I will never go there again. He even followed me out into the parking lot and told me to perform a lewd act on him. I just wanted out of there and the owner wouldn't stop running his mouth, run my card, and let me leave.

Instead I was told it was my fault for using complimentary instead of free because very few people know what that word means. If she didn't understand the word that her own restaurant posts in multiple places, she should have asked what it meant. The server didn't correct me and brought it. When I ordered, I said I will have the complimentary. The way the web site displayed it was misleading. site (not the app) shows something is complimentary. Then he was upset when I finally gave his attitude back at him. I couldn't complete a sentence without being dismissed. What was a minor issue turned into 20 minutes of blaming the customer, continuous insults and accusations.
